Atlanta Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation is built around the central idea of a universal medical center where rendering assistance is not differentiated by disease categories or medical procedures. The personnel of Atlanta Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation is a team of highly knowledgeable and experienced medical specialists. The doctors who have been working at the Institute graduated from medical schools of the former Soviet Union. However, on arrival to the United States each of them has served a medical residency, so that all the personnel is fully certified and licensed to practice in the United States.

    Professor Lawrence Eppelbaum, MD, PhD.
Member of the New York Academy of Sciences and is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Eppelbaum is licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery in the states of Georgia, Alabama, and New Jersey. He completed residency in Internal Medicine in Austin, Texas. He has experience as internal medicine doctor both in inpatient and outpatient settings. He also specializes in Interventional Pain Management for many years.

    Dr. Galina Vayner, MD.
Diplomat of American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Vayner is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the states of Ohio and Georgia. She has long-term experience as internal medicine doctor in former USSR and in USA. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in Cincinnati, Ohio.

     Dr. Demi Opanuga, MD
University of Georgia and Morehouse School of Medicine.
Internal medicine residency program at Atlanta Medical Center.
Georgia Medical License.

     Dr. Inna Kushnir, ND.
Licensed naturopathic doctor in the United States. Dr. Kushnir is a graduate of Kuybyshev Medical Institute, Russia. In Russia, she specialized in cardiology and served as medical director of Cardiac Care Unit.

   Dr. Akiva Gimpelevich, DO
State University of  New York,  New York College Of Osteopathic Medicine
Completed residency program at St. John's Episcopal Hospital.
Obstetricians & Gynecology (OB/GYN) specializing in female reproductive health issues.
Minimally invasive surgical techniques include laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and robotic surgery.
Georgia Medical License.

Viorika Drobenyuk, RDMS, RVT.
Certified sonographer. Dr. Drobenyuk received her medical doctor education at Kishinev Medical Institute, Moldova and completed her clinical internship in functional diagnostics.

Oleg Friedman
Computer tomography (CT-scan) technician. Dr. Friedman received his medical doctor education in Latvia at the Riga Medical Institute. He completed an internship in internal medicine in Latvia. Mr. Friedman has successfully passed all the examinations for the MD license in the United States and is preparing to take a medical residency.

Irina Dubin, RN.
Registered nurse. Mrs. Dubin graduated from New York University and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.

Raya Iskhakova, medical assistant.

Marina Treskunova, laboratory technician and medical assistant.
