Pain Clinic

Our Pain Center was founded at Atlanta Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2001.

It is an ambulatory surgical center licensed for diagnostics and treatment. Qualification of the personnel, a technical platform and the equipment are inspected and accredited by AAAHC.

The overwhelming majority of experts are convinced that the most effective way to relieve back pain is an epidural block (an injection of medication into an epidural space in an immediate proximity to a spinal cord). Our philosophy is different from the traditional one described above. At our Pain Center, we use other methods to relieve back pain. We provide safe treatment and we guarantee positive results in 90% of cases.

The remaining 10%, unfortunately, fall into other categories. These patients need a different kind of treatment or a surgical intervention.

At the Pain Center we provide an individual approach to a patient. After a diagnostic evaluation, a patient receives series of injections necessary for his/her particular case. Injections are done under fluoroscopic guidance that provides continuous control of the needle.

Between the first and second series of injections patients need a week break for our rehabilitation program. In some cases the Pain Center transfers patients to a sanatorium on Miracle Lake in Florida, where physical and aqua therapy is provided. After each injection, the patient is under the observation of the doctor for four hours until it is confirmed that the patient is in a satisfactory condition.

Every week our Pain Center is visited by nearly 30 people. Our results are steady: the patient simply does not feel any pain for six months or longer and forgets that once he had back pain. Back pain is not a life-time sentence. You can be healthy and pain-free. And our Pain Center is ready to prove it to you.
