The personnel of Atlanta Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation is a team of highly knowledgeable and experienced medical specialists. The doctors who have been working at the Institute graduated from medical schools of the former Soviet Union. However, on arrival to the United States each of them has served a medical residency, so that all the personnel is fully certified and licensed to practice in the United States.
- Professor Lawrence Eppelbaum, MD, PhD.
Member of the New York Academy of Sciences and is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Eppelbaum is licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery in the states of Georgia, Alabama, and New Jersey. He completed residency in Internal Medicine in Austin, Texas. He has experience as internal medicine doctor both in inpatient and outpatient settings. He also specializes in Interventional Pain Management for many years.
- Dr. Galina Vayner, MD.
Diplomat of American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Vayner is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the states of Ohio and Georgia. She has long-term experience as internal medicine doctor in former USSR and in USA. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Dr. Ludmila Tavrovskaya, MD.
Diplomat of American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Tavrovskaya has many years of experience as internal medicine doctor in former USSR and in USA. She is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Ohio, Oregon, and Georgia.
- Dr. Inna Kushnir, ND.
Licensed naturopathic doctor in the United States. Dr. Kushnir is a graduate of Kuybyshev Medical Institute, Russia. In Russia, she specialized in cardiology and served as medical director of Cardiac Care Unit.
- Dr. Alexander Meskhi, MD.
Psychiatrist. Dr. Meskhi completed his medical residency in New York State University. He is licensed to practice medicine in the states of New York and Georgia. He served as a department head for the children and adult program of partial hospitalization at Tanner Medical Centre. Dr. Meskhi has many years of experience as a psychiatrist in Moscow, Russia.
- Dr. Vladimir L. Gabinsky, NMD, PhD.
Board-certified doctor of naturopathy and homeopathy. Dr. Gabinsky has served as a professor at the First National University of Naturopathy. He has a doctorate degree in medical sciences and is a director of science at Atlanta Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Vladimir Yakovlev.
Technician of computer tomography (CT-scan). Dr. Yakovlev received his medical doctor education at Orenburg Medical Institute, Russia. He completed his clinical residency in radiology at the Botkin Hospital in Moscow. Mr. Yakovlev has 15 years of experience in roentgenology.
- Viorika Drobenyuk, RDMS, RVT.
Certified sonographer. Dr. Drobenyuk received her medical doctor education at Kishinev Medical Institute, Moldova and completed her clinical internship in functional diagnostics.
- Sabina Grinberg, P.T.
Licensed physical therapist. Mrs. Grinberg graduated from Physical Therapy School at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has a license to practice physical therapy in the state of Georgia.
- Oleg Friedman.
Computer tomography (CT-scan) technician. Dr. Friedman received his medical doctor education in Latvia at the Riga Medical Institute. He completed an internship in internal medicine in Latvia. Mr. Friedman has successfully passed all the examinations for the MD license in the United States and is preparing to take a medical residency.
- Efim Filvinsky, PhD.
Medical assistant. He received his medical doctor education in Russia at the Smolensk State Medical Institute. Dr. Filvinsky was the head physician of a local rural hospital and has had an extensive experience as a radiologist. Dr. Filvinsky specialized in ophthalmology as well and invented an ophthalmologic device.
- Irina Dubin, RN.
Registered nurse. Mrs. Dubin graduated from New York University and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
